QUICK SOLUTIONS

Keep pinching out the shoot tips of fuchsias to encourage more sideshoots, which will result in more flowers and a bushier plant. A well-fed and watered fuchsia will keep flowering well until the first frosts.

Deadhead pelargoniums

Check pelargoniums weekly to see if flowering stems need deadheading. Hold the flower stem down near the base where it will snap away cleanly.
