RACE CHAT BSSO Mallory Park, April 15/16, 2023

Round Two of the 2023 British Scooter Championship brought us to the familiar territory of Leicestershire’s Mallory Park circuit and a mixed weekend of weather. The stock scooter class was first up for practice. Rain in the days preceding the meeting had washed the track ‘green’ making qualifying conditions very tricky. With a cold and damp track, grip was at a premium to say the least; some riders tiptoed around to just get a time, while others just went for it, resulting in a few broken bikes and plenty of repair work.
