BEST PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKES AND PALMS VS. FISTS, PART 2

There are several reasons I prefer using palms rather than fists for hand strikes to the head. Generally speaking, palms are structurally superior to fists. Before I get into the specifics, I’ll provide some context.

If you fell face first onto a concrete floor from a standing position, how would you break your fall to keep from face-planting? Most, if not all, people would do so with their palms. Striking the human head with full force is not unlike striking a concrete floor in a fall.
