TRUE-LIFE
Annie Willson, 51, Worthing, Sussex
Kicking off my shoes at the front door, I yawned. ‘Busy day?' my husband Alan, then 46, asked, greeting me with a kiss.
‘Just a bit!' I joked.
It was a Sunday morning in April 2021, and I'd just finished my shift as a carer.
Alan was a carer too, as well as a cable technician, and we'd both worked hard through the pandemic.
I loved my job but my hubby was born to do it.
So caring and considerate, he'd do anything for anyone.
Helped our disabled neighbour every morning before work, and would never hesitate to lend a hand to local elderly
