Can Ebuyer fob me off with partial refund?

LEAD CASE

Q In November 2019, we bought an Asus graphics card from Ebuyer (www.ebuyer.com) for £570.98, with a manufacturer’s three-year warranty. In early 2022, the card developed a fault. Asus told us to contact Ebuyer, which handles warranty enquiries. Ebuyer finally offered us a partial refund of £312.32, but shouldn’t we be entitled to a full refund if the graphics card can’t be replaced or repaired?
