NEXT YACHT GROUP INTERVIEW WITH GENNARO CANDIDA DE MATTEO

Are you satisfied with this lively season?

You cannot but be happy with such an enthusiastic period, although some markets’ fundamentals are going down. Shows are extremely positive. Lots of Americans are still around. Fewer Far Eastern Asians maybe, after characterizing recovery. Europeans are growing more and more cautious about the future, political and economic events, inflation and expensive energy being more than facts. Enthusiasm is actually driving the Americans, inflation being pushed by consumption and not by an increase in prices. They’re still enjoying absolute optimism, supported by weak Euro; it is now cheaper for an American to buy in Europe.

How was this season for you?

As a small yet growing Company, I don’t think we can complain. 2022 closing figures are very interesting. We raised from 37 millions to 65, we sold more than we expected.
