This year marks a genuine milestone in the career of the Midlands-based Stone Foundation. Throughout the coming months, the band will be celebrating their silver jubilee year with tours, special shows and all manner of happenings. With a background aligned and linked to scooter, Mod and Northern Soul scenes, Stone Foundation have enjoyed a fanbase drawn from all three genres since the beginning of their impressive career. With the band’s story being released on the Rise Above It DVD, it was time to catch up with the band and I managed to chat with Stone Foundation stalwarts Neil Jones and Neil Sheasby just before they went on stage at The Holroyd Arms in Guildford as part of their Outside Looking In tour.
