A Quick One with Stone Foundation

Stone Foundation are unquestionably one of the hardest working as well as prolific bands anywhere in the world. Their previous album Street Rituals, recorded at Paul Weller’s Black Barn studio, was a top 25 hit in the UK national chart and the first taste of their new material, Standing On Top, was officially unleashed on August 10. Stone Foundation will be backing the new album with a full tour, the first leg of which (in the UK) commences in October. Stone Foundation’s main songwriting duo Neil Jones (guitar, vocals) and Neil Sheasby (bass, backing vocals), aka Jonesy and Sheas, took time out from their schedule for an exclusive chat.

SC: When did work start on your album Everybody, Anyone?

The end of October to early November was the beginning, though January to February this year was where most of it was done.
