THE MAN

Phil, now 60, from Stafford, the principal town of the county of Staffordshire, began his scootering life back in the early 1980s as a member of the Stafford Scooter Club. Phil got into the scooter scene through his love for Northern Soul and the strong connection the town had with both the scooters and the music, bypassing the usual ‘Revival Mod’ induction and becoming a Scooter Boy more akin to what the older lads of the area were at the latter end of the 1970s.
