Fill gaps in pots with evergreens
Plant dwarf conifers or mound-shaped evergreens at the edges of mixed pots to soften the display, and add colour and texture. Put plants in a bucket of water to soak the roots well before planting. Fill the new container with loam-based peat-free potting compost mixed with some grit.
