IT’S NO SECRET TO you, if you’ve been following my tales, that IMTBIKE is a tour operator whose work I have enjoyed. I did the ‘Essence of Portugal’ tour, a short (8 days, 7 of them riding) and intense experience. Our guides were Roger from Barcelona and Mikel from the Basque country; Paulo, the perpetually cheerful Lisbon IMTBIKE agent from whom we collected the bikes turned out to be from Timor, with his family scattered all over Australia.
