CANNABIS CLUBS and how they change the way we socialise

The current cannabis social club model originated in Spain where activists wanted to have the freedom to cultivate cannabis for personal use and share it in a non-commercial environment. According to Grow one Africa, “a group of community orientated cannabis enthusiasts using cannabis as a spearhead crop to create jobs”, there are about twenty-four cannabis social clubs listed by them nationwide. And these are not the only ones. Now, after years of fighting anticannabis legislation and stigma, the clouding smoke of stereotypes and myths is slowly fading away and a new dawn is breaking, not only for the cannabis industry, but for the way we socialise as well.
