Ta-ha-wus Turkey Stuffing

Makes enough dressing to stuff a 10-pound bird. From our Winter 1971 issue.

Giblets

1 cup butter
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup diced celery
3 cups ¼-inch cubes day-old bread
3 cups coarsely crumbled cornbread
1 cup browned, crumbled sausage
1½ cups walnut meats, chopped
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sage
2 teaspoons summer savory
2 teaspoons minced parsley
