I have always worked on my own bikes as I do not trust anyone else to do a proper job. Around 18 months ago I had just serviced my KTM1190 Adventure and decided to take it for a ride. I was only about three miles from home when there was a sudden flash. It took me a second or two to realise the bike was on fire.
