The 21st Century Gold Star

As this is written in early July, to my knowledge few of us have seen a new BSA Gold Star in action. We don’t know if it’s a real motorcycle – or a wood and plastic representation of one.

I should want one of these things, not a representation but a real 21st Century Gold Star. I love singles and always loved the look and amazing versatility of the old Gold Stars, bikes that seemed to be able to do almost everything, on and off the road – and do almost all of it superbly.
