Décor dilemma

THE PROBLEM

Sue Taylor of Cape Town writes We live in an old Victorian house and I’m struggling to rearrange the layout of our furniture in the living room to create a better flow and welcoming atmosphere. My biggest problem is that there’s a door on every wall - two of them are French doors. Yikes! Any advice?
