Eating well throughout pregnancy is part of making sure that you and Baby stay healthy. Maybe you’re also interested in going greener during your pregnancy. Good for you! A few small changes can make a big difference to your diet. We’ve got some tips and pointers on how to clean up your mealtimes.

SWITCH TO ‘WHOLE’-SOME

Make the switch from refined, white bread to wholegrain breads. Refined carbs such as white flour or anything containing added sugar don’t provide good nutrition. They fill you up without really feeding you. Whole grains have lots of fibre and essential nutrients that boost immunity that white breads lack.

The fibre that they provide sustains your energy longer than refined grains, and helps to prevent constipation.
