In their 2020 Whitetail Report, the National Deer Association (NDA) surveyed state and provincial wildlife agencies and asked if firearms have to be cased while being transported in a vehicle or all-terrain vehicle. They also asked if hunters can have a loaded rifle in a vehicle and/or shells in a gun’s magazine.
