McFARLANE TRIUMPHS
SAM KYNOCH promoted a six-bout show at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel on September 17 with each contest going the distance and all victories going to the home corner.
A pair of six-rounders saw tattooed Glasgow heavyweight Jay McFarlane, 13-6 (5), notch another win with a 59-56 success against Stockport’s Central Area champion Chris Healey, 9-12 (2). McFarlane will now travel to Rome, Italy for an improbable bout with former top amateur and 2016 Olympian, Guido Vianello, in an eight-rounder on October 28.
