I’ve written about both broccoli and cauliflower in this column before so I thought I would concentrate on my favourite ways of cooking these vegetables.

A quick and easy side dish
Broccoli is served up 2-3 times a week in winter in my house, and nearly as often in summer. I eat it not only because it’s amazingly good for us, but because I’ve grown to love it. My
