Kaffe Fasset fans — and isn’t that practically everybody? — are in for a treat. To celebrate Kaffe’s 85th birthday in December this year, FreeSpirit Fabrics has curated a new limited-edition collection. Entitled 85 & Fabulous, it will comprise eight classic designs that have been re-coloured to create 30 fabrics. Watch for them at your favourite patchwork shop!

In yet another example of fashion incorporating quilts, meet Tasmanian designer, a celebration of 30 individuals changing the world by 2030. Noah taught himself how to sew by watching hours of YouTube sewing videos and playing with his mum’s old sewing machine. He has used his creative flair to start his own clothing label — OneofOne Archive — which now has 16,000 followers on Instagram and almost 200,000 on TikTok. Every piece he makes is unique as he only uses second-hand materials. They have included coffee bean bags, flour bags, patchwork quilts and old jeans.
