TREE HOUSE

Making the tree house

1 To make the tree house, cut the following:

■ One (1) 6½in square, two (2) 3½in x 6½in pieces, one (1) 3½in square, one (1) 3in x 9½in piece and two (2) 2in x 3½in pieces of multi-print.

■ Two (2) 3½in squares, two (2) 1½in x 3½in pieces, one (1) 1½in x 2in and one (1) 1in x 3½in pieces of blue print.

■ One (1) 3½in square and four (4) 2in squares of background.

To create the roof, first mark a diagonal line on the back of a 3½in blue print square and place right-sides down on the corner of the 6½in multi-print square. Stitch on the line then press open – to snowball). Generally, when we snowball a corner, the seam is pressed towards the corner, but on this occasion, press the seam away from the blue.
