FLORRIE THE QUILTER

BEHIND THE QUILT

A MOUSE HARD AT WORK!

“Florence the mouse is an avid quilter. She lives in an old tree stump house with her squirrel friend Miss Poppy who is more of a dressmaker than a quilter. So Poppy concentrates her efforts on making fabulous wardrobes for the pair of them, and Flo keeps them well supplied with quilts. And in this block, Florrie is busy piecing her next background, which she might later decorate with appliqué to make the quilt extra special.

“This seasonal series is all about quilting, so Florrie was bound to get behind the sewing machine sooner or later. Florrie is a pedal to the metal kind of girl, she’s so quick the pins fly!” – ANDREA GORMAN
