Prevent blood clots

Prone to swollen feet and ankles on a flight? Sitting still for extended periods of time affects blood circulation to the legs and can lead to the development of blood clots – so it’s important to take preventative steps.

Get up and walk around the cabin as often as you can. While seated, lift your feet off the floor and rotate your ankles, and do heel and toe raises with your feet flat on the floor. Do both about 10 times, roughly every 20 minutes. Don’t forget to sip water
