NVTRR BACK ON THE ROAD!

After two years of waiting, the National Vintage Tractor Road Run (NVTRR) eventually took place on April 17h, having started from Llanilid Farm, Pencoed, near Bridgend in Wales, and was a Massey Ferguson/Ferguson celebration with over half the entry being mostly red and grey. The event attracted 420 entries and was raising money for two worthy charities; the Welsh Air Ambulance and Marie Curie Cancer.

After the customary tractor blessing by the Reverend Glenda Oglesbee and a speech by the founder, Ashley Godsall, the tractors were off, heading away under the M4 motorway across to the hamlet of Llangan, then on towards Craig Penllyn and Penllyn.

Then it was past the imposing Penllyn Castle, onto the Penllyn
