It was in 1998 that the National Vintage Tractor Road Run first came to West Sussex, organised by SEVAC and based at the South of England Showground near Haywards Heath. So, for many, it was good to see the event in East Sussex some 26 years later and this time, based at Plumpton College, near Lewes. Time has flown since Robert Coles and Ashley Godsall came together and the first Easter Sunday National took place in 1987 in Ashley’s home county of Herefordshire.
