‘I still want to play in Europe’

KICK OFF: How are you digesting the feeling of being Peter Shalulile right now given how much you have raised your profile?

Peter Shalulile: To be honest, it is not easy to be me because everyone wants a piece of me. This is the time when I have to weigh up who I give time to because I have people that have always supported me, especially family and friends that have always been there for me. It is not easy to be me because any mistake that I make now is going to be something big with everyone that has been looking up to me.

It’s amazing how much of a mental battle success can bring considering that you are still faced with improving from the levels you have reached.

With me, and everything that involves the mind, I just make sure I stay positive. Actually, in any circumstances that you find yourself in, you need to stay positive, especially now with what has happened in the last two seasons. It is not easy because everyone is looking up to you to
