Lebohang Maboe: It’s a feeling that is out of this world. It is an emotional feeling and I don’t think any of us can put it into words, considering how the league ended on the last day and we kept on fighting. I still can’t believe it but then as a big and ambitious club, this is what is expected of us. We are a bunch of quality players with a great technical team and supporters. We are there to play for everything.

You have now been a league winner in both years at Sundowns …

This is what every footballer dreams of when coming to a big club like Sundowns. Although there will be bumpy roads along the way, what matters most is how one deals with it. To win two league titles in a row in my first two years is an honour. Seeing the dreams that used to scare me back then happening now is an encouragement to keep on wanting more and not be satisfied. We have experienced players in the squad who have won the league at least five times so they provide the tangible inspiration, which pushes me towards wanting to be also remembered among the players who achieved so much. I still want to win everything there is to win. I still want to see myself
