‘FROM THE BIRDROOM’

THE onset of June has found my birdroom stock cages almost full, with the Fifes proving to be on top form this season. Even so, the hard work is far from complete, with some hens still rearing the later nests. I always consider this a very important stage of the year. This is when the earlier youngsters are well into their moult and the other young are not far off starting theirs.
