A year of two halves – have your say

Crikey, halfway through another year already! That means that local body elections are coming up and there are potential changes to how your local politicians view recreation.

The next election for members of all local authorities throughout New Zealand will be conducted, by postal vote between 16 September and, 8 October 2022.

Local elections are run by local councils and are held every three years by postal vote. If you’re on the electoral roll, you can vote in local elections where you live. Everyone with that opportunity to vote
