Hanging around the Henge

A long weekend enabled my 4WD club to arrange a Sunday evening visit to Stonehenge Aotearoa in Ahiaruhe, with touring trips for the Sunday and Monday to make the most of the trip.

To avoid an early start on the Sunday, we decided to have a leisurely trip up on Saturday and camp at Carterton for both Saturday and Sunday nights.

It was warm but windy when we met up with Gillian and Ashley for lunch at Wairarapa Moana then visited the Greytown street market for some mild retail therapy.
