We all know the benefits of exercise: improved physical and mental health, better sleep, less stress, increased energy and a more optimistic mindset. But with cold, wintery starts on our doorstep, it’s tempting to ditch the early morning exercise sessions in favour of the snooze button, and replace post-dinner strolls with curling up on the couch. Inevitably, these changes can cause weight gain, which can be hard to shift come springtime.
