There are five blocks we’ve used to build all these roofs: a wood block, a slab, stairs, upside-down stairs, and a trapdoor. You can use a single type of wood, but this should make it easier to identify which blocks go where!
FLAT ROOF
Flat roofs are the simplest and least interesting type. You can just use slabs or wood blocks to cap a roof off. If you want to put a roof on quickly or think you might build an extra floor on top later, that’s the time
