GO NUTS for your heart

he Heart Foundation has released a new position statement on nuts, seeds and heart health, which recommends Kiwis regularly eat the little wonders. Evidence shows that the risk of coronary heart disease decreases by around 20 percent when we eat three to four small handfuls of nuts and seeds each week – around 15g a day. Further benefits are likely with a higher intake. The foundation says
