Agents & Editors Conference

The Writers’ League of Texas (WLT) 2022 Agents & Editors Conference will be held from June 24 to June 26 at the Hyatt Regency on Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas. The conference features presentations, panels, authors in conversation, a keynote address (including a complimentary book), and one-on-one consultations with editors and agents for fiction and creative nonfiction writers. Participating agents include Erica Bauman (Aevitas Creative Management), Jan Baumer (Folio Literary Management), Danielle Bukowski (Sterling Lord Literistic), Heather Carr (Friedrich Agency), Caroline Eisenmann (Frances Goldin Literary Agency), Paloma Hernando (Einstein Literary Management), Lynn Johnston (Lynn Johnston Literary), Alex Kane (William Morris Endeavor), Julia Kardon (HG Literary), James Mustelier (Bent Agency), Aemilia Phillips (Stuart Krichevsky Literary Agency), and Anna Sproul-Latimer (Neon Literary). Anne LaBastille Memorial Writers Residency

The Adirondack Center for Writing offers a residency from September 25 to October 9 to six poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers at a lodge on Twitchell Lake in the Adirondack Mountains in New York. Three of the residents will be chosen from the Adirondack region and the other three from anywhere in the world. Residents are each provided with a private room, private bathroom, work space, and all meals. There is no cost to attend the residency, but residents are responsible for travel expenses to and from Twitchell Lake. Using only the online submission system, submit a writing sample of up to 10 pages with a $30 application fee between April 15 and May 15. Visit the website for more information.
