He had what it took to obtain the historic yard for 80 million euros. Ferretti Group Sanlorenzo also took the field on their Restart, a new peer joint venture NewCo specifically founded to obtain the yard. Yet they didn’t make it. By acquiring Perini, TISG practically gained whatever belonged to them: assets and properties of the Viareggio and La Spezia yards, real estates in Pisa, brands and copyrights, the 100% social participation in Perini Navi USA and all pre-existing juridical relationship with workers and third parties.

Among these assets, a yacht under construction the previous management had been commissioned by Larry Ellison, order number 2369. Ellison, President of Oracle Corporation, already owns a 56-meter Perini.
