She Started It
Women have always been a strong guiding force in my life—from my family members (my mother, grandmother and aunts, who have all had a hand in raising me; it truly takes a village, especially with a persnickety child like yours truly) to teachers (who encouraged me to pursue offices, both local and in the region, I’m surrounded by the best and brightest women in publishing. Which got me thinking: dear reader, if you were to think back on your lives, which female inspirations would stand out to you?
