How to start seeds indoors
Some plants have longer growing times and need to be started indoors in late March to mid-April — 4 to 6 weeks before they get planted outside (or purchased from seedlings in May if you don’t have the time and space to get growing inside). The following vegetables are easy to transplant, so when the time comes to move them outside, they’ll be hearty enough to survive cooler soil temperatures.
