Hello, I am glad you dropped by to read my Bio; I hope you find it interesting. I was born in the cool, wet climes of Scotland where I spent most of my youth going to school, playing rugby but best of all learning to play golf as it was once played many years ago with fun, laughter and daring. However, my ambition was to learn engineering and apply it to the human body. So after many years of studying I graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering then a PhD in BioMedical-Engineering. I spent many interesting months in the open heart surgery operating rooms designing systems to control the flow of blood to artificial lungs which then became the basis for my thesis. Like everyone else the honeymoon of college life came to an end as thoughts of full time employment loomed. I spent the next 25 years working in Pharmaceutical companies as an IT executive travelling the world and experiencing many of the world's great cultures. After retiring early and following the explosive growth of the internet I decided that it was now time to put my worldly knowledge to use, specifically in the area of green living. Over the years I have become more sensitive to changes in the planet's climate specifically around energy and water. With four growing kids I felt that I should try and help return balance to the world for my kids’ sake whilst maintaining a comfortable enjoyable lifestyle. I believe if we can show changes can be made without huge sacrifice then minds will open to future possibilities of living more harmoniously with nature. To that end I now spend most of my waking hours seeking information to combine to great knowledge for the betterment of mankind. All articles that my company produces are original content; I'd rather spend time producing useful information than regurgitating other work just to satisfy the search engines perceived view of importance. So please, if you find what I produce useful let me know or vice-versa Thanks again for stopping by, I do hope you find my meager endeavors of value. Regards Simon You can find me by typing in simonsayzzz or my company name in any of the search engines My current websites: www.mygreenenergyroi.com is the place to go about anything solar and geothermal www.easygrowing.info is the place for new ideas on growing plants that minimizes wastage of water www.sandspublishing.com is the place to go for unusual books on exploration www.simplybetterway is work in progress on new ideas on marketing useful information to the net. More about me Currently I’m working on a new invention that is in the progress of being patented through Davison. This invention is all about using more effectively the planet’s water in growing fresh vegetables and flowers. I use this system every year to grow all my plants either in my garden or on my deck. So take a look at easy growing (grownthego.com), you will be amazed at what it can do. Did you know if you could represent the world’s accessible water as being 50 gallons of that a teaspoon’s worth remains for drinking! Scary isn’t it! My other favorite subject is energy. I recently installed both solar and geothermal in my all electric home and business. I now have electric bills of less than $300 per year, no kidding. Geothermal heating and cooling is super efficient and the solar array provides all the energy my house needs at a much lower cost. My payback is < 4 years!
