Misty: inheritance and proposed standard

COLOUR specialist has advised me that the variety I’ve been describing is referred to as the “faded” in Australia. Further research, however, showed that the faded mutation in Australia is completely different and displays incomplete albinism characteristics. For more advice, I contacted Belgian budgerigar expert Didier Mervilde, who replied: “There is no doubt about the birds. This is the misty mutation. The inheritance is incomplete dominant.
