Hailing the “crucial” role of teachers in shaping society by nurturing young people, Kate was in her element as she joined a classroom in Kingston, Jamaica and showed a keen interest in pupils as she sat with them at a table.
The visit by William and Kate came on day five of their Caribbean tour, after earlier being welcomed to Jamaica House in the capital for a meeting with Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his wife Juliet, who is also an MP.
