On their first joint walkabout for two years, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge received a rousing reception in Abergavenny, where they were joined by HELLO!.
Hundreds of well-wishers waving Welsh flags greeted the future Prince and Princess of Wales as they visited the historic Monmouthshire market town to mark St David’s Day.
Some 90 pupils from Cantref Primary School also sang for the royal visitors, who were presented with posies and a box of Welsh cakes to take home.
Chatting to the crowds, Kate was asked what her favourite colour was. “It’s what I’m wearing,” she said, referring to her green Sportmax coat. “Do you know why? It’s because it reminds me of nature.”
