Albuquerque Coin Club Has Successful State Fair Showing

The Albuquerque Coin Club’s return to the New Mexico State fair following a one-year hiatus, the event having been canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, was a rousing success according to reports in their October 2021 newsletter. Sixteen club members volunteered their time staffing the club’s table in the Creative Arts Building. “I can not say enough about the super effort of Life Member Steve ‘Lincoln’ Acre,” commented Editor Phil Vitale, “the driving force of our State Fair effort.” Members mounted dozens of display cases showcasing numismatic materials and competing for ribbons in a number of categories, with 960
