Lemon and polenta traybake squares V

MAKES 12 SQUARES

200g salted butter, cubed 
175g golden caster sugar
4 medium organic eggs
2 lemons, zest and juice
150g ground almonds
1 tbsp baking powder
150g polenta
1 tbsp lemon thyme leaves (optional)
Small handful of blueberries (optional)

Preheat a fan oven
