From the notebook of a sports writer who can't quite print all of the good news that's, well, supposed to fit:

• That’s some kind of revision of The New York Times' long-standing motto. Don't mind the clunkiness.

• I doubt any amount of clunkiness will bother Steelers fans today. Not only did the Steelers beat the Ravens to improve to 7-0, they did so with a performance that left plenty of room for growth.
