DAVID COTSWORTH
My name is Shuko Oda, and I am the co-founder and executive chef of Koya restaurant. We specialise in freshly made udon noodles and dashi, as well as Japanese small plates with a strong focus on seasonal produce.
I live in a mid-century townhouse in south-east London, with my husband and two children. Our kitchen, facing the front of the house, is square with a yellow rubber floor and wooden shelving to house some of my favorite cook books, bowls, glasses and equipment. The window in front of the sink brings in rays of natural light, as well as nourishing green from the Japanese fatsia plant in our front garden.
One thing we really liked
