Our kitchen, facing the front of the house, is square with a yellow rubber floor and wooden shelving to house some of my favorite cook books, bowls, glasses and equipment. The window in front of the sink brings in rays of natural light, as well as nourishing green from the Japanese fatsia plant in our front garden.
