92 Silkman 2018 Semillon (Hunter Valley). Not enough Hunter Semillon makes it to U.S. shores. This bottling presents the iconic Aussie style. Citrus zest, pineapple, white spice and honeysuckle characteristics melt into a waxy mouthfeel on the medium to full-bodied palate. Zippy acidity and tangy citrus and spice notes linger on the finish. Clocking in at under 12% alcohol, the wine offers food-friendly drinking now, with the capability to age into a more complex creature over the next several years. Hudson Wine Brokers. —C.P.
