    WHY BUILD IN THE AIR?

    Mid-air bases are extremely safe, for a few reasons. The first is that it’s almost impossible for mobs to attack you, as most live on the ground or under it. Also, being high up means it’s easy to look down on mobs and pick them off from a safe range. While it’s not the easiest place to get started, and you’ll spend a lot of time transporting blocks back and forth, it IS worth it.

    HOW TO GET STARTED

    You have two choices: you can either find a floating (or nearly floating) chunk of land, or create your own.
