Frédéric CHOPIN (1810-1849)

DON’T MISS MELANIE SPANSWICK’S LESSON ON THIS PIECE

Chopin wrote in 1834, though the work wasn’t published during his lifetime. As it doesn’t have an opus number, it is usually referred to by its Brown catalogue number, B84. Like many of Chopin’s lesser works, it was published posthumously (in 1931), contrary to his wish that all his unpublished manuscripts be burned. It’s a beautiful gem, though, and a good introduction to the repertoire of Chopin. We are sure you will enjoy learning and performing it.
