In response to Hanna Lindon’s article in September’s issue of , I’d like to say: if provision was made for park and ride with regular pick-up and drop-off to key places, national parks might not find the need to do anything drastic. Lake District is my closest NP and favourite, and I always wonder why I can’t access a park and ride from Kendal or Penrith and then enjoy the view rather
